Program created by Legislator Jeanne Vinal, Esq. and David Wilson, PhD, sponsored by the taxpayers of the County of Erie and administered by SUNY Buffalo State Sponsored Programs, and led by NYS Master Teachers from across Erie County, who are among the 1500 highest performing STEM teachers in NYS.

Entering 4th, 5th and 6th graders in the Western New York area. Each student is chosen by their Math teacher as possessing academic promise and the mental ability to become a Star and top student in Math.

The camp is being hosted at St. Benedict School, 3980 Main Street, Amherst, NY 14226
In 2025, the camp will meet daily, Monday – Friday, August 11 – August 15 and August 18 – August 22.
Daily Schedule:
8:30 - Camp begins. Students may eat breakfast at this time.
9:00 to 11:30 - Students will be involved in math games and activities.
